YouTube removes Ranveer Allahbadia controversial video

Youtuber Ranveer Allahbadia has recently visited Samay Raina’s show “India’s Got Lalent”. The show has got high attention for its dark comedy and satirical, racist humor. In the recent show where Ranveer Allahbadia’s comments didn’t go well, netizens reacted to his comments and got under the National Human Rights radar.


After heavy criticism and negative comments on social media he apologized for his comments. Action taken by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, YouTube has taken down the entire video part where Ranveer was part of the guest panel.

Complaints Filed against the show:
After the video went viral on social media, Guwahati Police filed a case against Samay Raina, Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Makhija.


Following this ranveer has publicly apologized  by stating “My comment wasn’t just inappropriate, it was not even funny. Comedy is not my forte, I am just here to say sorry.”

“Obviously this is not how I wish to use it. I am not going to give any context or justification or reasoning behind whatever happened. I am just here for an apology. I personally had a lapse in judgement. It wasn’t cool on my part,” he added.He also added, “The podcast is watched by people of all ages, I don’t want to be the kind of person that takes that responsibility lightly and family is the last thing I would ever disrespect,”

As the video has been removed but still the netizens troll Ranveer Allahbadia for his statement. Few people appreciated for accepting his mistake and few others are saying it’s too late to realise.
