The success of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer Thandel made King Nagarjuna emotional. Nagarjuna graced the event as a special guest and looked elated throughout. Chaitanya attended the success meet with his newly-wed wife Shobhita Dhulipala. While the couple looked super dazzling, it was Nagarjuna who stole the show with his evergreen glamour and craze.
Speaking at the Thandel success meet, Nagarjuna said that he is extremely happy and that he could see the smile on his son’s face after a long time. “It’s been ages since I’ve attended a success meet. I am very very happy. I didn’t carry my phone with me, and I didn’t know how the public was responding to Thandel.
Finally, after the meeting, I switched on the phone, and I received relentless phone calls and messages from everyone. It was then I realized how there are so many Akkineni fans, and how they celebrated this victory as their own. As I said, it has been so long since I’ve been part of a success meet”, He added.
Nagarjuna thanked the entire cast and crew of Thandel for giving their best 100% best. He attributed this success to his daughter-in-law, Sobhita Dhulipala. Looking at the couple, he said, “It’s also about you marrying Sobhita. Sobhita is always special!” He added, “What you have done for Chaitanya is fantastic. You have brought out the actor in him.”
Released last Friday, the film collected close to 70 Crores Worldwide Gross with close to 41 Crore Shares. Since the film is performing well, there will be a spike in these numbers.
Produced under Geeta Arts, and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film received critical acclaim. The lead pair Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi are praised for their powerful performances. Producers Allu Arvind, Bunny Vasu, music composer Devi Sri Prasad, and others were seen with all smiles at the event.
