Just like the rest of us, the global sensation celebrated Dhanteras with her husband, actor-singer Nick Jonas, and their daughter Malti Marie. She just posted a nice family photo, displaying how beautifully they celebrated the day.
Priyanka Chopra’s Instagram story featured a photograph from their Dhanteras celebration. The photo showed PeeCee holding the hands of her husband, American actor and singer Nick Jonas. The parents also held hands with their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. What’s noteworthy is that the desi celebrity not only introduced the Indian event to her husband and their daughter, but she also celebrated it in the traditional style by making their daughter wear a stack of silver, blingy bangles. She captioned the photo with “Happy Dhanteras to all celebration” and a folded hand, crimson heart, and diya emoji.
Nearly a week ago, the fashion icon celebrated Karwa Chauth by fasting for her husband’s long life. In the photographs she published online, PC can be seen breaking her fast by taking water from Nick Jonas’ hands while on a Skype conversation with her mother, Madhu Chopra. Another image shows her reading a wonderful letter from her partner while smiling fondly. The third shot in the album is a selfie with the American artist.
PC observed all of the festival’s customs, including applying henna to her palms. She also dressed herself as a desi bride, with sindoor, earrings, bangles, and a mangalsutra bracelet. The actress, dressed in comfy nightwear, made sure to cover her head while doing the puja with her soulmate. In the caption, she stated, “To all those celebrating.. happy karwa chauth and yes I’m filmy.”
Chopra recently visited India to fulfill brand commitments and attend the screening of her award-winning Marathi-language drama film, Paani. Priyanka produced the film, which won the National Film Award for Best Film on Environmental Conservation.
