The delay for this announcement was mainly because Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to France and US, Budget session in Parliament. But the considered people for contending are Rekha Gupta, Vijender Gupta, Satish Upadhyay, Ashish Sood, Pawan Sharma and Ajay Mahawar. In this list the most interesting name which is in the talk is “Rekha Gupta”. She is the leading Female contender in the party.

BJP MLA Rekha Gupta from Shalimar Bagh constituency, most of the people are expecting her to be the next CM. However BJP hasn’t made an official statement yet. According to the sources, all the 48 MLA’s are going have a important meeting today and going to decide their next Delhi CM . All eyes are on the BJP meeting today.

The oath taking ceremony date is on February 20th at 4.30 Pm in Ramlila Maidan. On the CM candidate decision people are trusting on Modi’s decision and most of the people have trust on BJP party’s decision. According to the sources more than 40 Film stars, influencial Business leaders, Cheif Ministers and deputy chief ministers from almost 20 states are expected to come for the cermony. Before formal Oath cermony, Singer Kailash Kher is going to perform.

The name which expected to be announced was Rekha Gupta, She is the tough and strong member of the party. Gupta has worked as Secretary of BJYM’s Delhi Unit, and also as National secretary and councilor too. she also worked as General Secretary in Delhi’s BJP Mahila Morcha and also as BJP’s National Executive.

As BJP doesn’t have any woman CM in any ruling state till now, people are expecting a woman CM candidate in the National Capital.

Bansuri Swaraj, the late Sushma Swaraj’s daughter, is another name that is becoming popular. She is a well-known attorney who has been actively involved in the BJP’s campaign and won the Lok Sabha election in the New Delhi seat.
