Chhaava Show Halted in Mumbai: On Wednesday, there was a ruckus in a theatre in Lower Parel, South Mumbai. When the show ‘Chhava’ suddenly stopped because the screen got damaged. After this, the audience who had come to watch the film got angry. When the angry audience asked for their money back from the theatre management, they refused, after which people created a ruckus. However, the matter was resolved after the intervention of Shiv Sena UBT.
On the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s birth anniversary, a large number of people came to watch ‘Chhaava’ at PVR Cinema in Lower Parel, Mumbai. According to reports, the show stopped due to the screen getting damaged, after which the audience got angry. After this, they started asking for their money and the theatre management refused to return it. After this attitude of the management. There was a huge ruckus in the cinema hall, which lasted for about five hours.
What Caused the Chaos?
According to reports, the matter was finally resolved after Shiv Sena UBT members intervened and clashed with the theatre management. On receiving the information about the incident, Shiv Sena UBT MLA Sunil Shinde reached PVR and demanded compensation from the management. As they were responsible for the damage to the screen. After the tough stand of the party workers, the theatre management agreed to their demands and promised to give free tickets for any one show within a week as compensation and also promised to refund four times the amount of the ticket as an apology. A video of the incident is also going viral on social media.
Meanwhile, ‘Chhaava’ made a great collection on Wednesday. The film collected Rs 32.4 crore on the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Due to which the total earnings of the film have reached Rs 203.68 crore. In the film, Vicky Kaushal plays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife Yesubai Bhosale and Akshaye Khanna plays Aurangzeb.
