ADR: How many recently sworn-in Delhi ministers are facing criminal charges?

Do you know, According to Association for democratic Report (ADR) out of seven ministers five of them have criminal cases including Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. According to the reports, one of the minister Ashish Sood has serious criminal charges.


In this report two ministers are billionaires too. The reports are based on the affidavits submitted by the ministers before 2025 Delhi Assembly elections. As per the election procedure every minister has to submit there financial status and should give an explanation regarding the income. Based on this affidavits and papers submitted by them only this calculation was done.

The two billionaire ministers who’s accounts are almost of 29 percent of the cabinet. The richest minister Manjinder Singh from Rajouri garden Constituency with around 248.85 crores of assets. The lowest assets were from Kapil Mishra from Karawal Nagar constituency with assets of 1.06 Crores, according to Association of Democratic Report (ADR).


The Average assets of these seven ministers are easily around 56.03 crores. All of them has liabilities and Parvesh Sabhib Singh has the highest liabilities worth of 74.36 crores.

And surprisingly in these ministers, one minister has just completed 12th standard. Six ministers have educational qualifications of Graduate and above level. The most viral news in the public right now is Delhi cabinet has just one woman minister and that is also Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
