There were reports that Priyanka Chopra is part of SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s SSMB 29. Even though she never confirmed it, the hints she gave while shooting in Hyderabad went viral on the internet. In a recent interview with Priyanka’s mom, Madhu Chopra, she clarified this rumor.

When asked about the role of Priyanka Chopra in SSMB 29, Madhu Chopra gave slight confirmation about the project. She said, “Vahin shooting pe hain voh” (She is shooting the film). The interviewer also mentioned about Priyanka staying in Hyderabad for the shoot, to which her mother gave a head nod as the confirmation.

Presently, SS Rajamouli’s film with Mahesh Babu, SSMB29, has been in the headlines from the time of the announcement. The Film stars are presently shooting the second schedule at the aluminum factory in Hyderabad. According to the sources, Rajamouli is going to address this project with the media in Hyderabad. As per the schedule, after this shoot, the team is going to travel abroad for the next schedule in March.

SSMB29 is outlined as an adventure in the jungle. According to the sources, she may even portray the adversary. Official announcements on this much-awaited project are eagerly awaited by fans. In the meantime, this film represents Priyanka Chopra’s significant return to Indian cinema following a long absence. Before finalizing her role, she reportedly spent six months in talks with the director.

According to reports, SS Rajamouli has planned for two titles for SSMB29: Maharaj and Garuda, with a preference for the latter. The makers have not yet verified this, though. Filming is anticipated to conclude by 2026, and the movie will be released in two parts in 2027 and 2028.
