Bollywood movie ‘Chhaava’ starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles has become a huge success at the box office. It is being reported that it will earn a good share in the third week of its release. It seems certain that the movie will cross the Rs. 1000 crore mark in the long run. The movie has already earned huge collections in Hindi. Chhava’s buzz is going to start in Telugu states from tomorrow. With the movie Chhaava being released in Telugu, everyone is curious about how the collections will be.
Advance booking has already started in Telugu states. Information is being received from members of the film unit that decent bookings are being registered. Even though it is going to be released in Telugu three weeks after its release in Hindi, expectations and interest are high. That is why Geetha Arts is planning to release the movie on a large scale. As part of that, Chhaava’s Telugu version is going to be released in most of the theaters in Telugu states.
While the rush for the release continues, some are trying to stop the film on the other hand. The leaders of the Muslim Federation in AP recently met the Nellore District Collector and appealed to him to stop the release of the movie Chhaava. AP Muslim Federation President Zia ul Haqi is demanding that the movie be stopped from being released, saying that there have been clashes in many places in North India due to the movie Chhaava and that there is a possibility of such communal clashes in AP as well. He says that the release of the movie Chava should be stopped to prevent disruption to peace and security in AP.
Ul Haqi says that Aurangzeb of the 16th century was shown as a very cruel person in the movie Chhaava. He alleges that some scenes in the movie were created by distorting history. He expressed the opinion that if Chhaava is not blocked from releasing in Telugu, there may be clashes. He informed that many Muslim groups are staging protests in various districts to block the release of Chhaava. Industry sources say that the release of Chhaava is not likely to be stopped due to Muslim agitations and the movie will definitely be screened in theaters tomorrow. In the wake of the Muslim Federation’s request, there are chances that the police will take security measures to prevent any untoward incidents after the release.
