In the video, she explained everything happening in her life and thanked those who helped and supported her during the tough times.

Singer Kalpana denies the rumors of suicide attempt in the released video. She said that she is under medication for insomnia, and the heavy dose of medicine has made her unconscious. She also stood by her husband, Prasad Prabhakar, and refuted the rift between the two. “I’m 45 years old now and pursuing my Ph.D now. I record songs and travel all across the globe for events and shows. It’s all been only possible because my husband supported me. I’m blessed to have such a caring and supportive husband”, Kalpana said in the video.

She urged her fans and well-wishers not to believe any gossip or misinformation. “God blessed me with a beautiful family. My husband and children are a blessing to me. There’s no rift in the family. Indeed, it is because of my family that I’m alive today”, the singer further added. She also thanked the Police, Doctors, Media, Music fraternity, and fans for standing by her side.

Kalpana was found unconscious in her apartment in Nizampet, Hyderad, on Tuesday evening. When the apartment residents and association members informed the authorities, they reached out quickly and admitted her to a hospital in KPHB. While it was said that it was a suicide attempt due to family issues, her daughter dismissed the news. Now, with Kalpana’s video, it seems like a medicine overdose.

It was a sigh of relief for fans after Kalpana released a video to clear the air and update her health condition. While she looks recovering well, wishing the versatile singer a speedy recovery.
