Rasha Thadani, the daughter of Raveena Tandon, and Aaman Devgan, the nephew of Ajay Devgn, make their acting debuts in Azaad. Ajay plays a significant role in the movie as well. The period drama premiered in theaters on January 17, 2025, and it is now prepared for its over-the-top (OTT) launch. Azaad’s OTT release date was announced by Netflix on its Instagram page.
A poster of Azaad was posted by Netflix India on their Instagram account on March 13. “Bahaduri, wafadaari, aur jung aazadi ki,” they wrote. #AzaadOnNetflix: Watch Azaad on Netflix, available March 14.
Azad Cast:
Diana Penty, Piyush Mishra, Mohit Malik, Jiya Amin, and Dylan Jones have important roles in Abhishek Kapoor’s film Azaad. Guy In The Sky Pictures and RSVP are producing it. The music for the movie was written by Amit Trivedi. Chandan Arora is the editor and Satyajit Pande is the cinematographer.
Azaad Plotline:
A young stable boy and a horse named Azaad form a friendship in the 1920s Indian setting of Azaad, and their journey turns into a story of rebellion and self-discovery amid the struggle for independence. In the context of 1920s India, their intertwined journey develops into a tale of defiance and tenacity. Amidst the nation’s fight for independence, the narrative also examines themes of heroism, freedom, and the emergence of power.
Ajay Devgn portrayed the dacoit (rebel) Vikram Singh in the movie, while Aaman portrayed Govind, the little stable boy. Rasha played the part of the landlord’s daughter, Janaki.
