Most Hyped Part 2s in Indian Movies: Indian cinema is abuzz with the long-awaited Part 2s. These sequels promise to continue epic stories, resolve cliffhangers, and deliver cinematic magic. Fans eagerly await their arrival, fueling excitement across Bollywood and regional film industries.
Director Nag Ashwin’s film Kalki 2898 AD is a mythological science-fiction film inspired by Hindu mythology. Its first part, Kalki 2898 AD, was released on 27 June 2024. Now, fans are waiting for the release of Kalki 2. Kalki 2898 AD grossed over Rs 1000 crore worldwide. In the film, Prabhas plays Bhairava, Amitabh Bachchan plays Ashwathama, Deepika Padukone plays Sumati, and Kamal Haasan plays the villain character Yaskin. At the end of Kalki 2898 AD, there was a hint of “To be continued”, which confirmed the second part, i.e. Kalki 2898AD 2.
Director Prashanth Neel’s film Salaar 1 did not do much at the box office, but seeing the curiosity of Prabhas fans, the producers are gearing up to bring its second part. Salaar 1 stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire” was released in December 2023. It is an action-packed gangster drama film. The first part of Salaar was left incomplete, after which Salaar 2 was announced. Prabhas plays Deva in it, and the second part will take forward the conflict between him and Prithviraj (Varda).
Director Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahmastra was a huge success at the box office. The film starred Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt in lead roles. “Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva” was released in 2022. The first part focused on the love story of Shiva (Ranbir) and Isha (Alia) and the world of weapons. The second part will be Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev, which will focus on the story of Shiva’s father Deva.
Director Koratala Siva’s film Devara was a box office success. The film starred Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles. “Devara: Part 1” was released on 27 September 2024. It is an action drama film set on the beach. Jr NTR appeared in a double role in this film. In the film, Saif Ali Khan was seen in the role of villain Bhaira. The story of the first part left off, after which Devara 2 was confirmed. The second part will take the story forward, and its focus will be on the conflict between Devara and Bhairaa.
