Manchu Vishnu’s dream project Kannappa is getting ready for release. It is planned to release in theatres on a large scale on April 25 as a summer special. It is known that Pan India star Prabhas is playing a guest role in it. Prabhas is seen playing the role of Rudra. His look that has already been released has received a good response. Wherever Vishnu goes, he keeps talking about Prabhas in every interview. In this instance, Vishnu has made some interesting comments on Prabhas as the latest.
In an interview given as part of the Kannappa movie promotions, he talked about the body double culture in films. He said that a body double should definitely be used in action scenes and there is nothing with that. When asked about the fact that many heroes have been acting only in close-up shots in recent times, Vishnu said that he was not aware of it.
”Prabhas is half of me. When we were shooting, he had shrunk a lot. ‘I will not wear sleeveless in front of your body’. “You’ve grown too much. I can’t have that kind of body now,” he told me, Vishnu said. He said that everyone’s body is different. People accept them based on their performance, but they don’t make superstars just because they have a body.
“Prabhas didn’t take a single rupee for acting in this film.” When Mohan Babu said that there would be a five- or six-day shoot in New Zealand, Prabhas said okay without even saying a word, Vishnu added. Vishnu also said, “I got the chance to act in front of a great actor like Mohanlal. I feel lucky to have the opportunity to act with legendary actors like Nagarjuna, Brahmanandam, and Kota Srinivasa Rao, along with my father.”
“We released the teaser and songs of the movie Kannappa in five languages. One percent negativity was seen in Hindi. There was no negativity in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. But 15-20 percent negativity came from Telugu. It was only our Telugu audience that was pulling feathers and finding faults and saying that it was not right here. If it really is not good, then everyone in India should say that it is not good. They are doing this only in Telugu. Watch the movie as a movie. Not just my movie. If you over-analyze any movie, you will not be able to enjoy it in the theater.”
