Such cases happen countless and one such case was filed six years ago. The court served justice to that girl after 6 years of her death. Justice After 6 Years Wait:

The court has given its verdict after 6 years in the famous Sanjali murder case of Agra. Now, the court has sentenced the culprits, Akash and Vijay, to life imprisonment. The court has also imposed a fine of 5.23 lakhs on both the culprits. ADJ Nitin Thakur’s court has considered the incident serious and sentenced them to life imprisonment. The case is from 18 December 2018. Sanjali was returning home from her school. The culprits sprinkled petrol on her and set her on fire. Sanjali was a 10th-class student of Asharfi Devi Chiddi Singh Inter College.


Sanjali Case details:

victim, Sanjali was admitted to a hospital in Agra in critical condition. After this, she was referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. Sanjali died in Delhi on the night of 19 December. 6 hours after Sanjali’s death, her brother committed suicide by consuming poison. It was said that he had conspired to murder her. After the death of the accused Yogesh, the police arrested Yogesh’s maternal uncle’s son Vijay and his relative Akash. The case came to light in the Malpura police station area.

Plan of the murderers:

This case was in the headlines across the country. The police disclosed the entire case on 25 December 2018. The authorities arrested Vijay and Akash. It was alleged that Yogesh, who committed suicide, was pressurizing the student to befriend him. When the student refused, he hatched a conspiracy to kill her. After this, Sanjali, who was returning home on a bicycle from school, they burnt her alive by pouring petrol on her along with his friends.

108 people witnesses:

The police filed a 2 thousand-page charge sheet in the case. 108 people were made witnesses in this case. The statement given by Sanjali before her death was also included in the charge sheet by the police. Charges were framed against the accused in the case in April 2019. In the case, 26 people, including Sanjali’s uncle, Saudan Singh, father, Harendra Singh, mother, Anita, and sister, had testified.
