Sunita Williams to Return to India Soon: NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore, who were unexpectedly stranded in space have finally reached Earth. The entire world was eagerly awaiting their arrival as they were returning from the ISS after 9 months. Everyone wanted them to reach Earth safely. Meanwhile, Sunita Williams’ family members, relatives, and people from her ancestral village also performed special pujas for her.

Indian-origin NASA astronaut Sunita Williams’ family is celebrating her safe return to Earth. The 9-month wait and worries about what will happen have come to an end. In this context, her ancestors in India are celebrating. It is known that the Dragon capsule successfully landed in the waters off the coast of Florida at 3.27 am on Wednesday morning according to Indian time. Sunita Williams said that she is very happy to reach Earth safely. In this context, her ancestral family in Gujarat burst crackers and distributed sweets.

Sunita’s cousin Falguni Pandya said that the moments when the Dragon capsule landed safely on the Florida coast with the astronauts were indescribable. He confirmed that Williams will be coming to India soon. “We are planning to go on a vacation with her. We are going to spend a lot of time with her as a family after she returned to Earth after 286 days,” She said that she made the most of every opportunity during her days on the ISS, thus, she is a role model for them.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a letter inviting Sunita Williams to India. This letter, written on March 1, was shared by Union Minister Jitendra Singh X (Twitter). In it, he explained that he is extending his best wishes to her on behalf of all Indians. Modi also revealed that during his visit to America, he met famous astronaut Mike Massimino at an event. While talking to him, he said that Sunita’s name came up. He explained that at that time, he and the entire Indian people told him how proud we were of her work. Modi also mentioned that 140 crore Indians are proud of Sunita Williams’ success.
