According to state tourism minister Jupally Krishna Rao, Hyderabad will host the 72nd Miss World 2025 beauty pageant from May 7 to May 31. Contestants from 140 countries will compete in this prestigious event, which will showcase Telangana’s heritage, culture, and customs on a global scale and celebrate beauty and talent.
During the event opening he said, “With extensive international media coverage and millions of global viewers, the festival will highlight Telangana as a destination where ancient traditions harmoniously blend with modern aspirations.”
According to him, the occasion would give the state administration a significant chance to highlight the state’s world-class infrastructure, vibrant tourism scene, and rich cultural legacy. He declared, “We do not doubt that the festival will greatly increase Telangana’s appeal as a worldwide travel and investment destination.”
More than just a beauty pageant, the event served as a platform for global empowerment, culture, and goodwill, according to Julia Morley, chairman and CEO of Miss World Ltd. “Telangana is the ideal location for this celebration of world unity because of its stunning scenery, rich traditions, and contemporary outlook. We can’t wait to make a lasting impression and introduce Telangana to the world,” she said.
The warmth and friendliness of Telangana, which will be sharing its narrative with the globe, overwhelmed Krystyna Pyszková, the winner of the Miss Globe 2024 title in Mumbai last year.
The state government reports that the international competitors will arrive in the city on May 6 and 7 to take part in many activities that culminate in the grand finale at Hitex on May 31. On May 10, Gachibowli Indoor Stadium will have a spectacular opening ceremony that will highlight the rich culture of the state with traditional Telangana folk and tribal dances.
