As the summer sun beats down, e-scooters can face some serious heat challenges. With the increasing popularity of electric scooters for commuting and leisure, ensuring that your ride stays in top condition during the warmer months is essential, and excessive heat can lead to battery malfunctions, overheating of components, and an overall decline in performance. In recent times there have been many situations where most people’s bikes face short circuits and also battery get blasted, so to avoid these situations let’s look at some tips and simple tricks to save our bikes from overheating.


1. Parking in the shade

Parking your bike in the shade is very necessary and very important. Most people are in a hurry and don’t usually care about where the bike is parked, overheating doesn’t just happen because of the excess amount of riding and even when the bike is exposed to harsh sunlight battery gets overheated. To avoid this situation park your vehicles in the shade.

2. Using Different Chargers

The usage of different chargers mainly affects the battery’s health. Most of the electric scooters come with different voltages and power supplies. This change in the charger will affect the battery’s health.


3. Charging Immediately

Most people are not aware of this charging problem but this will affect your bike very badly. Do not charge your bike immediately after your ride, typically there should be around 30 to 40 minutes of time gap between your ride time and charging time. Apart from this charging should be done in the shade itself. With its process bike will be maintained in good condition.

4. Over Charge

Usually, people forget after keeping their bike for charge and most of them remove the charge after charging the bike for more than enough time. This overcharging will make the battery weak and it will end up draining the battery very faster. It is recommended to charge the bike as per your requirement.
