Telangana Bird Flu: Although bird flu decreased last month, now it is causing a stir once again in Nalgonda district. Officials have stated that chickens have died in several poultry farms. The areas surrounding the poultry farm villages have been declared red zones. These surroundings have been completely sanitized. Warnings have also been issued not to come to this area. People and chicken traders are expressing concern as bird flu has once again infected chickens.
It is known that bird flu has shaken two Telugu states in the past month. A few lakh chickens died of this disease. This had a serious impact on chicken traders. Chicken prices also fell drastically. However, people did not want to eat them. They stopped eating chicken and eggs. After that, bird flu began to subside. Due to this, consumers also rushed to chicken centers. Even though chicken prices increased, they showed interest in buying.
Bird flu is causing a stir once again. Officials have confirmed that chickens are dying from this disease across the Nalgonda district. Doctors have confirmed that chickens in a farm in Gundrampally, Chityala mandal have been infected with bird flu. It is reported that there are approximately two lakh chickens in the chicken farm concerned. Not only that, officials said that chickens have also been infected with bird flu in a poultry farm in Bhoodan Pochampally mandal, Dothigudem. Here, more than 40 thousand chickens were infected with this disease.
The officials killed and buried them, and sanitized the area. Wherever there are chicken farms, the authorities have declared the surrounding areas as red zones. The authorities have also advised people from nearby villages not to come there. The officials informed that all the poultry farms which were infected, has been seized for three months. They said that these farms can be operated after receiving orders from the government.
