Twitter Iconic Blue Bird Logo: The popular social media platform X (formerly Twitter) has undergone major changes since it was taken over by world tycoon and Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Unexpectedly, its name was changed from Twitter to X. The logo was also changed from Blue Bird to X, creating a sensation. However, recently, when Twitter’s old logo, the Blue Bird, was auctioned, it fetched a record price. When it fetched an unexpected amount of money, people were shocked. People are commenting that this logo, which once impressed netizens, still has the same craze.
In this auction organized by a company called RR Auction, the company said that this Blue Bird logo, which was once seen at its headquarters in San Francisco, fetched a record price. In particular, it was explained that a blue bird, measuring 12 feet long, 9 feet wide, and weighing 254 kg, was purchased by a person for 35 thousand dollars. That is, its value in Indian currency is approximately Rs. 30 lakhs.
The company, which only said that someone bought it, did not reveal the name of the person. RR Auctions also explained that the person had asked not to disclose his details to anyone, which is why it was not being announced. However, the person who put this logo up for auction was none other than Elon Musk, the head of X. Musk, the head of the company, put up for auction old valuable memorabilia. This also includes the bird signboard at Twitter’s headquarters. However, Twitter Blue Bird logo which was established in 2006 was designed to symbolize the chirping of birds. According to the website Creative Blog, the logo was made for $15 at the time for the light blue bird symbol.
Meanwhile, Tesla CEO Elon Musk bought Twitter in October 2022. He paid $54.20 per share for the stock. He bought the micro blogging site for a total of $44 billion. Also then laid off 75 percent of his employees and changed the name of Twitter to X and also changed the logo.
