Fans may have to wait some more time for the next film of ‘RRR’ fame, global star Ram Charan. Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘RC 16’ was scheduled to be released this year, but the latest reports state that the film has been postponed for the time being. Now it is being planned to release it in March next year, i.e., 2026. This decision has not been taken by the makers but due to the OTT platform Netflix. Netflix has bought the OTT rights of RC 16, which is set to stream after the theatrical release. Now, there is a trending buzz that RC16 release postponed by Netflix, let’s see what happened.
Latest reports claim that Netflix has bought the post-theatrical digital rights of this film of Ram Charan. After this deal, the OTT platform had requested the makers of RC 16 to postpone the release of the film to next year. However, the report does not state the clear reason why Netflix has done this. But this news has definitely shocked those fans who were waiting for this film of Janhvi Kapoor and Ram Charan for a long time.

RC 16 plot:
RC 16 is also being called Peddi, but the makers have not yet officially announced the name of the film. This film is directed by Buchi Babu Sana. It is speculated that this film will be a sports drama. In this, Ram Charan will be seen in the most different avatar among all the roles he played till date. This will be Janhvi Kapoor’s second film in Tollywood. Earlier, she appeared in the film ‘Devra Part 1’ with Junior NTR, marking her debut in Tollywood.
Buchi Babu Sana has garnered attention with his directorial debut, Uppena. Along with Janhvi Kapoor and Ram Charan, Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar and web series Mirzapur fame Divyendu Sharma will also be featured in the film. The film is planning to bring the magical music by Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman. The budget of the film was earlier said to be 250 crores, which has increased to 450 crores now. The makers have spent several crores of rupees on some of its songs that are raising the anticipation.
