Sanjay Dutt replaced Saif Ali Khan in Prabhas’s Spirit?

Pan-Indian star Prabhas is currently working on his upcoming film, Spirit, with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. This film is scheduled for a 2026 release. However, the buzz surrounding other leading cast members continues to trend until they announce one. Latest reports hint at a replacement for the existing cast for undisclosed reasons. It is said that Bollywood veteran actor Sanjay Dutt is considered for a key role in the film. The source also hints that Sanjay Dutt replaced Saif Ali Khan to play the antagonist. If not this, there is another possibility of adding an intriguing layer to the action-packed project with another key role.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film, Spirit, is currently in the pre-production state, and the casting is not fully revealed. This maker is considering casting the right people to do their best for the roles he has in his mind. Knowing Sandeep Reddy Vanga, his top priority is his film. Earlier, in Animal, he replaced Parineeti Chopra with Rashmika Mandanna. The reason is, he thought Rashmika would be a better choice for the role.

Now, a similar thing is expected with the Spirit cast too. The latest buzz is that Sanjay Dutt was approached for a role in Spirit, and he is also considering the offer. But the question still remains about his role in the film. It was earlier said that Saif Ali Khan is the antagonist in this film. But there are also reports suggesting that, after Devra, Sandeep Reddy Vanga thought Saif Ali Khan couldn’t satisfy the Tollywood audience. This might be a reason to replace him. Or there might be another key role, which is why Sanjay Dutt was approached. But there is no clarification or response by the makers yet.

Sanjay Dutt worked for Tollywood earlier. He previously appeared in Telugu films such as Zanjeer with Ram Charan and Double iSmart with Ram Pothineni. Unfortunately, both the movies failed to succeed at the box office and led to controversies. This raises another concern about Sanjay Dutt’s ability to make a career in Tollywood.
