Woman jumps from moving train to escape from rape attempt. This shocking incident occurred on the evening of March 22, when the victim was traveling alone in the ladies’ coach of the MMTS train from Medchal to Secunderabad railway station, according to the victim’s statement to the government railway police.
According to the sources, she suffered from minor injuries while escaping from that man. The woman, who works in the private sector, had been traveling from Medchal to Secunderabad to fix the display on her cell phone.
The woman claimed that an unidentified man got into the ladies coach after two other female passengers who were riding with her got off the train at the Alwal railway station. She refused the roughly 25-year-old man’s demands for sexual favors. She then jumped out of the moving train as he attempted to push himself on her.
According to the police reports, the woman claimed that after two female passengers in the same carriage got off the train at the Alwal railway station, an unnamed man, who appeared to be about 25, approached her and asked for a sexual favor. When she refused, he tried to force her, and she then jumped off the moving train.
In this case, police said, “She sustained bleeding injuries on her head, chin, right hand and on her waist and later, some passersby got her shifted to a state-run hospital, a GRP police official said. The woman has stated that she will identify that person if she sees him again.”

According to the woman’s complaint, police have filed a complaint under section 75 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 131 (use of criminal force) of the BNS.
Last month there was a similar case where a pregnant woman was thrown out of a moving train for resisting rape, this incident was taken place in Tamil Nadu.
Revathi, a 36-year-old woman, was traveling alone on the Coimbatore-Tirupati Intercity Express train from Tiruppur to Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, when the event occurred at around 10:30 am. Around 6:40 am, the victim boarded the train in the ladies’ coach with an unreserved ticket. According to officials, there were at least seven additional ladies there at the time. Around 10:15, the train arrived at Jolarpettai Railway Station, where all of the women disembarked, leaving the coach vacant.
