Sikandar: Edited many scenes which includes Salman’s Singing

According to the sources, the Sikandar has passed in the certification process by Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with UA 13+ certificate on March 21. It is also reported that the makers have trimmed many crucial parts and even salman khan’s singing in the film. According to the CBFC certificate the Sikandar is 2 hours 30 minutes and 8 seconds but after the film got edited again the film is now around 2 hours 15 minutes and 46 seconds.

According to the CBFC rules, they need to be informed if any addition or deletion of scenes takes place in the film after giving the certification. Makers have taken permission from the CBFC for the voluntary cuts and the board has approved it.

Deleted Scenes:

According to the voluntary cut list, 26 sequences have been trimmed. Four of these scenarios last longer than a minute. ‘Offer aukat ke bahar tha’ was cut from a scene. ‘Chaar miss call…chalo Rajkot’, ‘Usse leke aata hoon’, and ‘Aa gaye aa gaye…bad spouse’ were all cut out of the 4-minute and 26-second scenes.

The remaining scenes that have been eliminated are shorter than sixty seconds. Eleven seconds have been removed from the moment where Sanjay (Salman Khan) sings “Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh.” A 56-second scene with the sentence “Aate rahenge ab toh” was removed. The dialogue “Yeh sirf sample tha” and the Holi shooting sequence were cut down by forty seconds.

The filmmakers cut a total of 14 minutes and 28 seconds from the movie. In terms of extras, Sanjay’s response shots were included for seven seconds. Following these modifications, Sikandar’s final runtime is now 135.47 minutes, or 2 hours 15 minutes and 47 seconds. On Monday, March 24th, the CBFC gave its approval to these modifications. The movie is scheduled to open in theaters on March 30.
