Robinhood Makers React to Ticket Price Hike; Reveal Their Goal

Robinhood Makers React to Ticket Price Hike: Robinhood, directed by Venky Kudumula, is all set to make its grand theatrical debut soon. The film featuring Nithin and Sreeleela is gathering lots of attention from the fans across the world. One of the main reasons for its global recognition despite Tollywood film is that it features Australian cricketer and former Sunrisers Hyderabad player David Warner. Currently, the lead actors Nithin and Sreeleela, along with David Warner, are busy promoting the film.


Hiked Ticket Prices

Recently, Robinhood made headlines not only for its excitement but also for hiking ticket prices in Telugu states. The recently released press note stated that the team has requested the government to hike ticket prices for Robinhood. The press note states that theaters in Andhra Pradesh will have ticket prices hiked up to Rs 50 for single screens and Rs 75 for multiplexes. This announcement of a ticket price raised concerns of an ongoing trend of rising ticket prices. Now, makers have officially reacted to the ticket pricing controversy.

Makers React to Ticket Price Hike

The makers of Robinhood, Mythri Makers, took to their official social media pages and cleared the air about ticket pricing. Sharing the note, makers said, “No Hiked Prices For Robinhood: There are unverified reports and news that Robinhood will have hiked prices in theaters. All these are completely baseless.” The makers further revealed, “The hikes are only applicable at a few select premium locations in Andhra Pradesh. The rest of Andhra Pradesh and all of Telangana will have normal prices at all centers.”

Robinhood’s Release Goal

The makers have candidly expressed their true intentions of making films. “They said, Our intention with the film is to give wholesome entertainment at affordable prices. Enjoy Robinhood at your nearest theaters and get entertained to the fullest. In cinemas from 28th March 2025.”
