Hyderabad Metro increases operational timings and student offers

Hyderabad Metro Timings : Significant adjustments to the Hyderabad Metro Rail’s operating hours have been announced, including longer hours for commuters arriving late at night. On weekdays (Monday through Friday), the last train departure time from all terminal stations will be moved from 11 p.m. to 11.45 p.m. starting of April 1. Furthermore, Sunday services will now start earlier, with the first train leaving terminal stations at 7:00 AM. Alongside the extension, the well-liked student pass promotion, which lets students take 30 journeys for the price of 20, will continue until March 31 of the next year. Over 16,000 commuters are served daily by SVIDA Mobility, the official first- and last-mile partner, which has increased its fleet to 200 dedicated feeder vehicles to support these services.

The Art Fest into our transit ecosystem,” a senior official from Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMRL) said about other initiatives the metro has launched to improve the experience of the more than 5 lakh commuters. In addition to improving the passenger experience, these programs support our goal of making Hyderabad a world leader in dynamic, sustainable urban mobility.

Student Offers: 

The Hyderabad Metro has renewed its student-only travel promotion for an additional year. Students who purchase 20 excursions will earn an additional 10 trips under this arrangement, making a total of 30 trips possible at the same price. These programs seek to increase affordability and accessibility for frequent users, especially students who depend on metro services for their everyday commutes.

Following this, MD and CEO KVB Reddy of L&TMRHL said, “The launch of the T-Savaari app and our revamped passenger website marks a significant step towards making Hyderabad Metro a digitally empowered transit system. By leveraging technology, we are enhancing efficiency, accessibility, and commuter convenience, ensuring that our passengers have a smooth, connected, and future-ready metro experience.”
