Producer Naga Vamsi’s latest film, Mad Square (MAD 2), has been released in the theatres and got a positive response from the bookings and the audience. But most of the media agencies started giving mixed reviews despite having a positive review of the film in the theatres. On this topic, Producer Naga Vamsi has spoken out in the recent press meet and got angry at the way the media is portraying the mixed reviews.
Talking about the movie reviews, producer Vamsi said, “A Review is something which is given personally after watching the movie. It is not something that is given as an opinion like how elections happen.” Apart from this, he said, “All your websites run because of our films and our interviews so dont’t write whatever you feel like, better think before writing something.”
This argument on the reviews of the film and giving mixed reviews about the film, which is running well in the theatre, has created a heated argument between the journalists and the producers. He also challenged the media to not promote or write any articles about his films or interviews. In the conclusion, he said, “If you guys want, you can ban me in the media and don’t promote or write any articles about my films, let’s see how my films run without any media support.” He also said, “It’s not like my films are going to run just because of your reviews and articles.”
