Late legendary businessman Ratan Tata, a name that is deeply connected to every Indian. Following Ratan Tata’s passing on October 9, 2024, his will is now revealed on how his estimated ₹3,800 crore fortune was distributed. Ratan Tata wanted his half-sisters, Shireen Jejeebhoy and Deanna Jejeebhoy, to have one-third of his financial properties. These include bank fixed deposits, financial assets, and physical assets like watches and paintings. These are estimated to be at Rs. 800 crore.
Ratan Tata’s brother is Jimmy Naval Tata, who is 82. The sole living heir has gotten the Juhu Bungalow. while his close friend Mehli Mistry will receive the Alibaug property and Tata’s prized possession of three guns, including a .25 bore pistol.
From Ratan Tata’s whopping net worth, another one-third was to be owned by Mohini M. Dutta, a former Tata Group employee who was close to Tata.

A student loan to Shantanu Naidu, who is well known as Tata’s executive assistant, along with an interest-free education loan to neighbor Jake Malite, would be waived off as his gesture of kindness.
Ratan Tata’s international assets are valued at approximately ₹40 crore. This includes land in Seychelles, bank accounts with Wells Fargo and Morgan Stanley, and shares in companies like Alcoa Corp and Howmet Aerospace.
