The Hyderabad police have strengthened security for the Sri Rama Navami Shobha Yatra. Authorities have issued strict guidelines to ensure a peaceful event. They have warned against playing provocative songs or making speeches that may hurt religious sentiments. The entire procession will be monitored in real-time through the Command Control Room. Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand conducted a coordination meeting with various department officials to finalize security arrangements.
Commissioner C.V. Anand emphasized that Hyderabad’s Sri Rama Navami Shobha Yatra is a nationally recognized event. He urged all participants to cooperate with police and ensure a smooth and peaceful celebration. During the meeting at Draupadi Garden, Seetharambagh, officials discussed various safety measures.
To prevent any disturbances, the Hyderabad Police have deployed 20,000 personnel across key locations. Special teams including She Teams, CCS and Task Force units will monitor the event. Surveillance will be carried out using drones and over 1,000 CCTV cameras connected to the Command Control Room for round-the-clock monitoring.
The Sri Rama Navami Shobha Yatra will start from Seetharambagh and proceed to Hanuman Vyayamshala. The police have conducted a detailed route inspection in an open-top jeep covering Mangalhat, Purana Pul, Jummeraat Bazaar, Siddiamber Bazaar, Afzalgunj, Gowliguda, Koti and Andhra Bank Crossroad.
1. Avoid Traffic Disruptions – The Yatra should start on time in the afternoon to minimize congestion.
2. Statue Height Regulations – Ensure safe height limits for statues to avoid accidents.
3. Sound Control – DJ systems should not cause noise pollution. Organizers must use controlled sound systems.
4. Prior Drone Permissions – Event organizers must seek prior approval for using drones.
5. Trial Run –
Officials should conduct a trial run to resolve any last-minute issues. GHMC Additional Commissioner confirmed that teams are arranging road repairs, lighting, and sanitation to ensure a smooth event. Key officials, including Additional CP Vikram Singh Mann, Traffic Joint CP Joel Davis, DCPs, and representatives from R&B, Electricity, Fire, RTC, Water Board, RTA, and the Health Department, have received instructions to coordinate closely.
With these preparations, authorities aim to conduct the Sri Rama Navami Shobha Yatra peacefully and without disruptions.
