Nepal’s land was shaken by two tremors of earthquake this evening. According to the information, its effect has also been seen in North India, where mild tremors were felt. Two earthquakes were felt in western Nepal on Friday evening. According to the National Earthquake Monitoring Center, both the tremors came at an interval of three minutes. The first tremor came at 8:07 pm local time with a magnitude of 5.2, while the second came at 8:10 pm with a magnitude of 5.5. Let us tell you that, during the preliminary information, NCS had given the time of the earthquake as 7:52 am and its magnitude as 5.0.
The epicenter of both the earthquakes was in Panik area of Jajarkot district, about 525 km west of Kathmandu. Tremors were felt in neighboring districts including Surkhet, Dailekh and Kalikot in western Nepal. Despite the intensity of the earthquake, there were no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage.

Located in a seismically active region, Nepal experiences frequent earthquakes. An alert has been issued in the region. Authorities are monitoring any tremors or damage in the affected areas. Earlier, a 4.2 magnitude tremor was felt in the Bay of Bengal at 5:50 pm.
