City Police Act Warangal: The Warangal Commissionerate has implemented the City Police Act from April 6 to May 5 to maintain law and order. Commissioner of Police Sunpreet Singh announced that public gatherings, rallies and meetings require prior police permission. The Act also includes restrictions on loudspeakers, DJ sound systems and public drinking.

Rules Under the City Police Act

The enforcement of the City Police Act means strict regulations on public activities. Citizens must be aware of the following restrictions:
No Public Gatherings Without Permission:
Before conducting rallies, meetings or processions all the organizers must obtain police approval. Violators will face legal action.

DJ sound systems and loudspeakers are banned to prevent noise pollution. People must get prior permission from the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP). Loudspeakers can only be used between 6 AM and 10 PM even after permission.

Restrictions Near Sensitive Areas: Loudspeakers are not allowed within 100 meters of hospitals, schools, colleges and other educational institutions.Prohibition on Public Drinking: Consuming alcohol in public places is strictly banned. Engaging in anti social activities will lead to strict legal action.

City Police Act Warangal:The City Police Act is enforced to ensure public safety, control disturbances and prevent unlawful gatherings. Authorities aim to avoid incidents that could disrupt peace in the region. The police department has instructed officers to monitor the situation closely and take action against violators.
Legal Consequences for Violations
CP Sunpreet Singh warned that anyone breaking the rules will face strict action under the City Police Act. Cases will be filed against offenders and penalties will be imposed based on the severity of the violation.
