Kalga Village

Kalga Village is located near Pulga Dam on Parvati Valley in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, which is a popular place for trekking. In the month of April, the maximum temperature of Kalga remains up to 14 degrees Celsius and the lowest will be -4 degrees Celsius. If you are fond of trekking, then head to Kalga village. It can take three days to complete this 28 km long track. Apart from trekking, one can see the amazing view of Manikaran valley from the top of the hill here. The view of the sunset is very captivating.


How to reach Kalga in Himachal Pradesh

To reach Kalga, Manikaran is 25 km away from the airport, where buses or taxis are easily available. Kalga village is 10 km from Manikaran, from where the track starts. Apart from this, you can reach Kullu district and from here you can reach Bhuntar by road.

Spiti Valley

Spiti Valley is one of the coldest hill stations in Himachal Pradesh. It is very cold here in winter, but even in summer the temperature here is as cold as in winter. Winter can be felt even in summer amidst the snow-capped mountains. In the month of April, the temperature of Spiti Valley remains in minus. The minimum temperature here is minus 13 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 3 degrees Celsius. From March to June, it is a great destination for tourists.

How to reach Spiti Valley

If you want to travel to Spiti Valley by train, then the nearest railway station is Joginder Nagar station which is 169 km away. From here you can reach your destination by taxi or local bus. You can also travel by toy train from Pathankot to Joginder Nagar.

Tawang

Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh is a center of attraction among tourists for its cool weather and beautiful monasteries. The average maximum temperature here this month can be 14 degrees and the minimum 2 degrees Celsius. Tawang is also home to India’s largest and the world’s second largest monastery. You can go to Tawang to spend a relaxing holiday amid natural views and pleasant weather.

How to reach Tawang?

There is no direct flight to Tawang. Tezpur Airport is about 387 km from Tawang. The distance from Guwahati to Tawang is 450 km, although due to the hilly route, it may take more than a day by road.

Zero Point

Zero Point is located in the Yumthang Valley of Sikkim. Here one can see a unique view of snow-capped mountains. This place is a favorite for those who love snow. From here one can see a panoramic view of the vast range of Himalayas including Kanchenjunga. The temperature here remains in minus.

How to reach Zero Point

Take a train or flight to Gangtok and travel to Yumthang. Yumthang Valley is about 140 km from Gangtok. Zero Point can be reached in an hour’s drive by traveling about 13 km from Yumthang.
