Sonakshi Sinha’s first Telugu movie, Jatadhara, is fully finished. On Women’s Day earlier this year, the actress, who made her debut in South Indian cinema with this eagerly awaited project, unveiled her first glimpse of the movie. Sudheer Babu plays the lead in the Venkat Kalyan-directed movie. Already, the movie is being hailed as one of her most ambitious endeavors to date.
In the pictures, Sonakshi is seen posing with the cast and crew, expressing her joy and gratitude for being a part of the project. She was also seen thanking everyone involved, and sharing her excitement about entering the Telugu film industry. Sonakshi shared a few of her team photos on Tuesday as she finished one more shooting schedule for the movie.
In the caption, she wrote, “Aaaaand one more down!! A film wrap for me on #Jatadhara… my first Telugu film… and my team has killed it on this one!!! bohot mazza ayaa, bohot dhamaal kiya… cant wait for you all to see!!! Thank you for the amazing shooting experience.”
With Jatadhara, a supernatural fantasy thriller that represents her big Telugu film debut. 37-year-old Sonakshi Sinha is embarking on a daring new chapter. With the conclusion of the second shooting schedule, which included some tough action sequences and significant plot points, the actress has been engrossed in the movie.
When the filmmakers released Sonakshi’s first glimpse of Jatadhara on March 8, International Women’s Day, the excitement surrounding the movie reached a fever pitch. Her new avatar captivated people with its fierceness, power, and complete lack of resemblance. With producers Umesh KR Bansal, Prerna Arora, Aruna Agarwal, and Shivin Narang at the helm, the Zee Studios-backed movie, which also stars Sudheer Babu, was directed by Venkat Kalyan.
