Telangana Students Get Mini Vacation in April Ahead of Summer Holidays

Telangana Students Get Mini Vacation: Telangana students have a reason to celebrate. This weekend brings three consecutive holidays. April 12 is the second Saturday. The next day, April 13 is a Sunday. On April 14, the government declared a holiday for BR Ambedkar Jayanti.


Three Days of Holidays Before Summer Vacation

Before summer vacations begin, students get another surprise. They will enjoy a long weekend in April. Currently, schools are running half-day sessions. The announcement of three holidays has made students excited.


Holiday Break from April 12 to 14

Students will have a break from April 12 to April 14. The second Saturday falls on April 12. April 13 is a Sunday. April 14 marks BR Ambedkar Jayanti for which the government has declared a holiday. This gives students three continuous days off.

Another holiday follows in the same month. April 18 is Good Friday which is also a holiday.

Half-Day Schools Due to Rising Temperatures

School in Telangana have been running in half-day shifts from March 15. Classes start at 8:00 AM and end by 12:30 PM. The early schedule was introduced to protect students from extreme heat. Summer vacations will begin on April 24.

Telangana Students Get Mini Vacation:

Telangana has been experiencing high temperatures from February. The heat continues to rise daily. The government decided to implement half-day schools early. This move ensures that students do not suffer due to the scorching sun.

Telangana has 27 general holidays in 2025. The government has also announced 23 optional holidays.

It allows students to take a break from studies and refresh their minds.
