Tahira Kashyap, the wife of actor Ayushmann Khurrana and a filmmaker, has posted an update stating that she is back at home and working on her health recovery. This comes a few days after she revealed that, over seven years after her initial diagnosis, her breast cancer had returned.
On Wednesday, Tahira posted a cheerful photo of herself on Instagram, showing her clutching a sunflower. She included a statement with the photo, expressing gratitude to supporters and admirers for their love, prayers, and support.
In her caption, she said, “Basking in all the love and prayers! They are magical. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Back home and recovering.”
In the conclusion, she said, “I know some of you who are praying and so many whom I don’t know, and yet I receive all your goodness with grace. Similarly, some of you know me, and others might not, but I send all my gratitude to all of you. And when such a connection is made, which is beyond actual relationship, it’s called Humanity, which is the highest form of spirituality.”
Tahira’s Previous Health Update:
Tahira had previously discussed her health on April 7 and stated that she was prepared to take on cancer once more. In the caption, she wrote, “Seven-year itch or the power of regular screening–it’s a perspective I’d like to go with the latter and suggest the same for everyone who needs to get regular mammograms. Round 2 for me… I still got this.”
