Pushpa 2 updates : Shradha Kapoor roped in for a special song Allu Arjun’s action flick

Allu Arjun is gearing up for the releases of his most anticipated sequel film Pushpa 2 : The Rule directed by Sukumar, which is set to hit the theaters worldwide on 6 December 2024.

It is reported that Pushpa 2 : The Rule makers Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar are planning for a special blockbuster hit song like Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava and roped in Bollywood actress . Recent rumors on social media suggest that Shraddha Kapoor has been chosen to perform in a special dance number alongside Allu Arjun.

Previously it was rumored that Disha Patani was considered for the role, but it seems Shraddha was finalized, which is yet to be confirmed by the makers. Shraddha Kapoor was last seen in horror film Stree 2 , which was commercially and critically successful. The film has grossed over Rs 874.58 crore worldwide, emerging as the second highest-grossing Indian film.

Pushpa 2: The Rule serves as direct sequel to Pushpa The Rise directed and written by Sukumar. It is bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner with an estimated budget of Rs 500 crores and is set to break prequel records.

The action flick ensemble cast includes Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS, Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli, Pushpa’s wife, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari are set to reprise their roles from the prequel.

Allu Arjun’s starrer action flick’s is already a blockbuster hit with it’s pre release business. It is said that the film’s satellite rights of the film were acquired by Star Maa for a whooping Rs 80 crores, while the digital streaming rights of the film were acquired by Netflix for ₹270 crore.

Pushpa 2’s North India distribution rights were acquired by AA Films for ₹200 crore. The distribution rights for North America were acquired by Prathyangira Cinemas and AA Creations for Rs 30 crores. T-Series acquired the worldwide music rights and Hindi satellite TV rights for ₹60 crore. In total that film grossed more than Rs 640 crores from it’s satellite rights, digital streaming rights, distribution rights and audio rights .
