After Bharti Airtel announced a partnership with Blinkit to deliver SIM cards to clients’ homes in as little as 10 minutes, the company’s share price surged more than 3% during Tuesday’s trade, hitting a new 52-week high.
The company is currently operating in 16 places across the country with plans to expand to more cities and towns in the future. It has claimed in an exchange filing that it is providing a unique service as a telecom.
Customers may now obtain SIM cards at their homes in just 10 minutes for a little convenience fee of ₹49 thanks to this arrangement, which is a significant accomplishment. Customers can simply activate the number through an Aadhaar-based KYC verification process when the SIM card is delivered.
