Hanuman director Prasanth Varma teases his next film with Rebel Star Prabhas on his social media account. Prabhas is gearing up for the release of his much anticipated horror comedy film The Raja Saab.
Prabhas is currently busy filming a period movie, tentatively titled Prabhas Hanu, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. He is reportedly signed his next project with Prasanth Varma and is expected to make an official announcement soon.
According to Ram Venkat Srikar of Galatta Telugu, Hanuman director Prasanth Varma has revealed his upcoming project, which will feature a major star in the lead role. In his tweet, the director mentioned, “I’m working with a very big star. We have created a poster, and it’s ready. I will announce it soon.” Prabhas and Prashnath has yet to confirmed the rumors.

There are the rumors speculating that the HanuMan director will soon be working with the Rebel Star for one of his upcoming ventures in PVCU (Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe).
Moreover, the production company, Hombale Films, recently announced they will bankroll three of Prabhas’ movie lineups. The first one out of the lot is Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, directed by Prashanth Neel. While the sequel movie is slated to release in 2026, the makers had also announced that two more Prabhas movies would be released in 2027 and 2028.
Prabhas is the only Indian actor to have six films with a worldwide gross opening of over ₹100 crore. He is also the only South Indian actor with six films that have crossed the ₹100 crore nett mark in the Hindi market. Additionally, He is the first South Indian actor to receive a wax sculpture at a Madame Tussaud’s museum.
The Raja Saab is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 10 April 2025 across multiple languages like Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages.
