Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Sujeeth reportedly wrapped Original Gangster : They call him OG shoot. Pawan Kalyan and Sujeeth are coming together for OG which happens to be one of the most anticipated films in the making in Telugu cinema and the stakes are high on this one.
The title They Call Him OG is a play on the term Original Gangster and also stands for Ojas Gambheera, the name of Pawan Kalyan’s character in the film. Ojas means master or fight master, and Gambheera means strength and dignity. It is reported that the makers of OG are super confident about the kind of output that is being churned out by Sujeeth.
More importantly, the shooting of OG is nearly done and there are under two weeks of shooting schedules left. This actioner is likely to be done with the filming part in the next few days.
Once the shooting is done, the makers will commence the promotional campaign and this will be followed by the sealing of the theatrical deals. While there are already reports that OG could do over Rs 200 crores theatrical business, the number could go up higher if the forthcoming content strike the chord.

The upcoming gangster thriller film OG revolves around a ruthless don named Ojas Gambheera, OG who returns to Mumbai following his ten year disappearance, to kill another crime boss, Omi Bhau. The film ensemble cast includes Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi in his Telugu debut, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Sriya Reddy, Harish Uthaman, Abhimanyu Singh and Ajay Ghosh.
The film’s shoot was halted for several months due to Kalyan’s political campaign in 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. Following his election as Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the film resumed its shoot in October 2024 in Hyderabad.
The project was funded by D. V. V. Danayya’s DVV Entertainment with a reported production budget of Rs 250 crore. Kalyan was reported to receive Rs 100 crore for remuneration and is set for it’s grand worldwide debut 2025.
