Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Increased security has been implemented around the temple complex, as well as in Ayodhya, Barabanki, and the surrounding areas, after Ram Mandir in Ayodhya received a bomb threat over email. The cyber cell is looking into the case after a first information report (FIR) was filed at the Ayodhya cyber police station. On Monday evening, the email was forwarded to the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust.
Following several warnings from terror organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammed, which has previously made similar threats and targeted the location, the threat coincides with continued worries about the temple’s safety. Central and state authorities have been put on high alert to avoid any unfortunate incidents, and security agencies are aggressively looking into the email’s validity.
Security in Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir:
Security has been tightened around Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir because of the danger. To protect the safety of both tourists and construction workers, more patrols have been sent out, and police officers are now more visible around the temple site and the surrounding areas.
With more than 135.5 million domestic visitors in 2024, the Ram Mandir has grown to be a popular tourist destination, even overtaking the Taj Mahal as the most visited location in Uttar Pradesh. Due to the increased demand for strict security measures brought on by this spike in tourists, local officials have increased their patrols around the city.
