The Oscar and BAFTA awards winning sound designer, Resul Pookutty took to his official Twitter account and warned theatres to adjust speakers as per the requirements for his upcoming film, Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule after facing backlash for the overly loud sound design in Tamil period action drama Kanguva. So he made sure to warn theatres to adjust speakers as per the requirements for his upcoming film, Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule.

Earlier he also shared pics from the Pushpa 2 dubbing on his Twitter account and wrote,” As Pushpa 2 the rule Trailer rolls out today, its been quite hectic in many levels. I want to say to all film lovers& fans that #Pushpa2 shall be mixed at standard Dolby Level 7. I request all theaters2 tune Amps and Speakers well in time. @MythriOfficial @alluarjun @Pushpa Movie.”

The world renowned sound designer word of advice to theatres comes days after Kanguva received criticism for the extremely loud sound design. Kanguva co-producer and actress Jyothika also admitted on her Instagram handle  that the background score in the first half is too loud. So he made sure to warn theatres to adjust speakers as per the requirements for his upcoming film, Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule. 

The action entertainer is made with an estimated budget of Rs 400–500 crore, the film is one of the most expensive Indian films and is already a block buster as it earned more than Rs 1000 crores from it’s pre -release theatrical business.

Allu Arjun’s starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule is the sequel to Sukumar’s 2021 blockbuster and is gearing for it’s worldwide grand theatrical debut on December 6 in in standard, 3D, IMAX, 4DX, D-Box and ICE formats in multiple languages Telugu , Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali and Malayalam languages.
