In today’s time, many people are saying the same thing. They will definitely lose weight in the coming days. That is, many people are trying to lose weight. For this, they are doing various types of fasting. They are putting junk food aside. But, it is difficult for many people to put junk aside after eating well for so many days. Lifestyle coach Anu Tripathi has something like nectar for all such people. He is sharing some tips on Instagram to lose weight while enjoying junk food.
This means that even if you don’t exercise, doing some things will give you a lot of results. Your body naturally burns more calories, about 10 to 15 percent more calories, through movements like walking , standing, and moving. For this, make sure you walk at least 8,000 steps a day. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Make sure you walk for an hour every day. Avoid using the elevator as much as possible. Keep walking even when you are working or talking on the phone.
1. I Prioritize NEAT (Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis)
Your body burns 10-15% more calories through everyday activities like walking, fidgeting, and standing!
What I do: I aim for 8,000+ steps daily, take the stairs, and move every hour.

2. I Never Eat Junk on an Empty Stomach
Eating high-sugar, high-fat foods on an empty stomach causes spikes in blood sugar followed by crashes, leading to fat storage and cravings.
What I do: Before indulging, I eat protein + fiber (like nuts, yogurt, or a boiled egg) to stabilise my blood sugar.

3. I Lift Weights & Do Strength Training
Muscle burns 3x more calories than fat, even at rest! More muscle = higher metabolism, so I don’t store extra fat even if I eat out.
What I do: I focus on weight training 3-4x a week to keep my metabolism high.

4. I Manage Insulin Spikes with Smart Eating
Frequent blood sugar spikes lead to fat storage, cravings, and sluggish metabolism. I avoid this by pairing carbs with protein & fiber to slow digestion.
What I do: If I eat pizza, I balance it with a side of salad or protein to prevent a glucose crash.
TRY THIS: Never eat refined carbs alone—pair them with protein or fiber to stay full longer!
5. I Hydrate & Support Digestion
Dehydration slows metabolism and triggers fake hunger signals! Also, bloating and sluggish digestion make you feel heavier.
What I do: I drink 2.5-3L water daily and include cumin or ginger water for digestion.
