Woman Uses AI to Crack Virtual Interview, Sparks Online Outrage

AI to Crack Virtual Interview: A recent viral video has stirred controversy online showing a woman using an AI tool to cheat during a virtual job interview. Shared on Instagram by a page named “InterviewSidekick,” the reel demonstrates how artificial intelligence can feed real-time answers to help candidates respond in interviews. While some viewed the tactic as clever, many others criticized it as dishonest and unethical.

AI to Crack Virtual Interview

In the video, the woman is seen attending a live interview on Google Meet. She places her phone in front of her laptop, where an AI tool listens to the conversation and provides instant answers. This allows her to read the replies aloud pretending they are her own thoughts. The video was shared from her husband’s point of view praising her for being smart and using technology to succeed.

However, the clip faced heavy backlash on social media. Viewers accused the woman of cheating and undermining the value of hard work and talent. One user said interviewers can easily spot fake confidence and unnatural pauses. Another commented that such shortcuts damage the country’s future and workplace trust.

The debate reflects growing concerns about AI in hiring processes. While tools like resume builders and skill assessments are widely accepted using real-time AI prompts during interviews is seen as crossing the line. Many argue that such practices harm the integrity of recruitment and create an unfair advantage.

Despite the criticism, InterviewSidekick appears to be using the viral attention to promote its product. But the controversy raises important questions—should AI be allowed in interviews and where should we draw the ethical boundary?

As AI becomes more powerful, it’s essential to use it responsibly. Honesty, skill and personal effort should remain the foundation of any job application. Cheating might help once, but it won’t build a successful long-term career.
