Ram Charan Pays A Visit To ‘Darga’ At Request. In a demonstration of profound respect toward AR Rahman, Ram Charan served as the chief guest at the 80th National Mushaira Ghazal event at Kadapa Ameen Peer Dargah. Despite observing Ayyappa Swamy Deeksha, Ram Charan presented prayers, a ‘chadar’, and flowers at the historic Dargah, conveying a message of togetherness and harmony.
Actor Ram Charan recently visited Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, with the director of his next film, Buchi Babu Sana. On Monday evening, the duo went to the Sri Vijaya Durga Devi temple and Ameen Peer dargah, where police hit fans to control the massive crowd.
Dressed in black as part of his Ayyappa mala and barefoot, Ram flew from Hyderabad to Kadapa. He attended the 80th Mushaira Ghazal event. Despite being in deeksha, the actor fulfilled an old request from music composer AR Rahman to visit the dargah. He visited the temple with Buchi, performed a pooja, and put the script at the Goddess’s feet. Ram also offered a chaddar made of flowers at the dargah.
Fans who got a whiff of the visit tailed Ram right when he landed in Kadapa. They welcomed him with a massive garland and flower petals, with the actor waving at them through the car’s sunroof. However, videos show the situation becoming overwhelming soon, and the police had to hit fans to hold back. The crowd tried to catch a glimpse of him, making way for his car that was trying to pass through.
Last year, A.R. Rahman sent an invitation to Ram Charan to attend the annual Mushaira Ghazal event at Kadapa Dargah, and Ram Charan fulfilled his commitment.
The visit demonstrates his dedication to uniting faiths and maintaining principles, hence reinforcing his status as a pan-India star.
On the work front, Ram Charan has “Game Changer”, set for release on January 10, 2025, in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. He will also start working on his next film, RC16, to be directed by Buchi Babu
