AP Gurukula Entrance Exam 2025: How to Download Hall Tickets and What to Know

AP Gurukula Exam 2025: Hall tickets for Andhra Pradesh Gurukula Vidya Samstha entrance exams are now available online. The entrance exams are scheduled for April 25 across all district centers. Students seeking admission into residential schools, junior colleges and degree colleges under the Gurukula system must appear for these exams.


AP Gurukula Exam 2025:

The entrance test for classes 5 to 8 will be held in the morning session. Exams for Intermediate and Degree admissions will take place in the afternoon. The official responsible V.N. Mastanayya, confirmed the schedule and release of hall tickets.

– Morning session: Classes 5 to 8
– Afternoon session: Intermediate and Degree

Seat Availability in Schools

There are 50 residential schools in Andhra Pradesh. For class 5 admissions, 3,920 seats are available. From classes 6 to 8, 45 schools offer 1,625 seats. These include schools for both boys and girls and minority as well as general categories.

Seat Distribution in Schools

Seats are reserved as follows:
– OC: 41%
– SC: 15%
– ST: 6%
– BC-A/B/C/D/E: 29% combined
– Minorities: 73% in minority schools
– PHC: 3%
– Orphans and children of ex-servicemen: 3% each

Junior College Admission Details

There are 10 residential junior colleges with a total of 1,425 seats. Of these, three are for minority students. Seat reservations follow similar distribution patterns with added quotas for sports and NCC students.

Degree College Admission Details

One residential degree college offers 637 seats. The distribution includes:
– OC: 35%
– SC: 15%
– ST: 6%
– BC categories: 29%
– PHC, Sports, NCC, Ex-servicemen, Orphans: 3% each
– EWS (OC): 10%

Important Dates for Results and Counseling

– Results and 1st merit list: May 14
– 2nd merit list: May 30
– 3rd merit list: June 13

Junior College Counseling
– 1st phase: May 20–22
– 2nd phase: June 2–4

Degree College Counseling
– 1st phase: May 23
– 2nd phase: June 6

Selection Process

Selections are made based on marks secured in the entrance test and category based reservations. All courses are taught in English medium.
