Actor Priyadarshi Pulikonda said that acting in the movie ‘Mithai’ was the worst decision he took in his life. He also said that acting in the movie ‘Court’ was his best decision. In the wake of the release of his movie ‘Sarangapani Jathakam’ on the 25th of this month, Priyadarshi shared many things about his career. Priyadarshi Pulikonda said that he has now got a clarity on what kind of movies he wants to act in.

There are many who entered the film industry as comedians and became heroes. Priyadarshi Pulikonda is riding high with a series of hits that take them as an example. Priyadarshi, who started his career with a small character in the film ‘Terror’ in 2016, came to everyone’s attention in the same year when he played the role of hero Vijay Devarakonda’s friend Kaushik in the film ‘Pelli Choopulu’. The dialogues he delivered in Telangana accent impressed the audience. He played important roles in Junior NTR’s ‘Jai lava kusa’ and Mahesh Babu’s ‘Spyder’. He received critical acclaim for playing the lead role in the biopic of Chintakindhi Mallesham, who invented the Asu Yantra, ‘Mallesham’. After that, the films ‘Balagam’ and ‘Mangalavaram’ brought him more fame.

The movie ‘Court’ directed by Ram Jagadish, produced by hero Nani, has taken Priyadarshi’s career tenfold. Priyadarshi’s performance as a lawyer who fought alone in court for a young man who was unjustly involved in a case and won justice has impressed everyone. He is putting a series of projects in line with this enthusiasm. The movie ‘Sarangapani Jathakam’, directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti and starring Priyadarshi Pulikonda and Roopa Koduvayur, will be released on the 25th of this month. Senior producer Shivalenka Krishna Prasad has produced it. The makers say that it will not only make the whole family laugh out loud, but also has crime comedy elements that will appeal to the youth.

Priyadarshi, who is currently participating in the promotions of this film, spoke about his career planning and the way he came to the industry. “I never thought I would become a comedian in my life. Because i came to the industry to become a good actor like them after seeing people like Kota Srinivasa Rao and Prakash Raj. I have not got such roles in my career so far. That is why I am unhappy. The film ‘Court’ is the best decision I have taken in my life. Similarly, doing the film ‘Mithai’ was the worst decision in my career. Only now i am getting clarity on what kind of films I want to do. All the films I have done so far are great, but the films I will do from now on are another level. I have not acted in a film like ‘Sarangapani Jathakam’ so far. This is a new kind of film for me. I am sure that it will definitely entertain the audience,” said Priyadarshi.
