A key member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Sukhbir Balbir Singh, often known as Sukha, from Panipat in Haryana was taken into custody by Navi Mumbai Police. Sukha was allegedly planning to kill Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Wednesday night, the culprit was arrested in a Panipat hotel room after being seduced by a police officer’s partner. According to reports a woman lured Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang to save Salman Khan.

Three months passed while police worked on a plan to apprehend Sukha, who had run away from the police following the attack on Khan’s Bandra home.

Dainik Jagran’s reports suggest that a young woman working undercover did the work with befriending him and gaining his trust. Over time, the two communicated frequently, laying the groundwork for the eventual sting operation. The woman got in touch with Sukha on Wednesday and told him she was staying at the Abhinandan Hotel in Panipat. The woman is under alcholo usage when she made the call.

According to the report, “I am somewhere in Panipat, but I don’t know where. I am at the Abhinandan Hotel. I am sending you the location, come here,” she told him.

Sukha was first dubious, wondering whether she was planning to have him arrested. She soothed him, though, implying that his visit might have a benefit. Sukha reluctantly agreed to meet her, not realizing that the Mumbai Police were waiting in a room above. Mumbai Police stormed the hotel room where the two were sharing drinks and arrested the suspect.

The current investigation on Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang for killing Salman Khan has made progress with Sukha’s apprehension. The group allegedly intended to carry out the attack using powerful weaponry like AK-47s and M16 rifles that were imported from Pakistan.

This arrest follows the June detention of five other Bishnoi gang members by Navi Mumbai police. The individuals in question were Waspi Khan alias Wasim Chikna, Rizwan Khan alias Javed, and Deepak Hawa Singh alias John. The charges against the gang members included reconnaissance at Khan’s residence and Panvel farmhouse.
