Pahalgam Attack: Demolished Accused House In Kashmir

Pahalgam Attack: According to sources, one of the three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists who were thought to be responsible for the Pahalgam Terror attack had his home destroyed. One of the three suspects in the attack, Asif Fauji, also known as Asif Sheikh, lived in the residence in Tral, South Kashmir.

Faces Revealed by Police

A series of sketches of the terrorists engaged in the 26-person Pahalgam attacks was made public by the Jammu and Kashmir police on Wednesday. According to the authorities, eyewitness testimonies served as the basis for the sketches. As per the official reports, Suleman Shah, Abu Talha, and Asif Fauji or Asif Sheikh are depicted in the sketches. The three terrorists were also involved in terror-related acts in Poonch and went by the code names Moosa, Yunus, and Asif.

TRF Behind Pahalgam Attack?

A party of tourists was attacked at the Baisaran meadow in Pahalgam by suspected terrorists who were thought to be members of “The Resistance Front,” a branch of the outlawed organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. On April 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on a state visit to Saudi Arabia, and US Vice President JD Vance was in India when the Pahalgam terrorist incident took place in the legendary Baisaran meadow of Pahalgam.

Kasuri Named, No Confirmation

It is not yet confirmed that the assertion on Tuesday’s attack was carried out by the Resistance Front (TRF), a division of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba. According to some reports, the attack’s “mastermind” is thought to be Saifullah Kasuri, also known as Khalid, a senior Lashkar-e-Taiba commander. Official information on these claims has not yet been released. The Pahalgam raid occurs one week after General Asim Munir, the head of the Pakistan Army, caused controversy by claiming that Kashmir is Islamabad’s “jugular vein.” New Delhi strongly objected to the statement.

Our position is apparent: it was and will continue to be our jugular vein, and we will never forget it. Speaking to the Overseas Pakistani Convention in Islamabad on April 16, General Munir declared, “We will not abandon our Kashmiri brothers in their valiant struggle.” In response to General Munir’s remarks last week, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said, “How can anything foreign be in a jugular vein? This is an Indian Union Territory. Pakistan’s illegal occupation of its territories is the sole relationship it has with that nation.
