Not Nani but THIS Star Was the First Choice: The much-awaited cop thriller, HIT 3, will release on May 1, 2025. With Nani both starring and producing the movie on a grand scale, the fans are eagerly waiting for the third part of the HIT series. In the footsteps of its hit predecessors featuring Vishwak Sen and Adivi Sesh, HIT 3 promises more action, suspense, and surprises.


Nani: The Surprising Selection for Arjun Sarkaar

Though fans are eager to witness Nani as the cop toughie Arjun Sarkaar, he was not initially supposed to play this role. The character was made between the climax of HIT 2, generating waves of excitement. But director Sailesh Kolanu did have something else in mind. He wished to bring a new face to play the lead for HIT 3. Tamil actor Karthi, who starred in Dev and Oopiri, was the first choice, it’s said. Karthi declined the offer, opening up the opportunity for Nani to take over.

A source close to the production revealed that after hearing the storyline, Nani agreed to both act and produce, elevating the film’s scale. This collaboration promises an unforgettable journey through Arjun Sarkaar’s world.

The Buzz Around HIT 4 and Karthi’s Role

Although Karthi turned down HIT 3. It is rumored that he will appear unexpectedly in the next installment of the franchise. There is much speculation regarding his character being hinted at towards the end of HIT 3, paving the way for playing the lead role in HIT 4. Rumors of Adivi Sesh’s cameo appearance in the Kashmir-based plot of HIT 3 add to the build-up.

Nani on HIT 3’s Filming Experience

Nani let on that he spent three weeks filming in scenic Jammu and Kashmir, mostly in Pahalgam. The region’s natural scenery contrasts sharply with the hyper-plot. Arjun Sarkaar’s history as a vicious and brutal cop is sure to give depth and interest to the movie. With Netflix buying the digital rights for a whopping sum. HIT 3 will also be available to stream in June 2025. Until that time, fans are left to question: will HIT 3 live up to the hype it generates?
