What Is Blend on Instagram?

Normally, users watch videos and reels individually on Instagram. They can share them with friends if they like something. The Blend feature allows friends or groups to watch and enjoy similar reels together. Social media users often have different interests and ideas. Blend helps bring these together by creating a shared experience.

Blend works almost like the Direct Messages (DMs) feature. It combines reels from you and your friends into one shared, custom feed. This feed is based on what you and your friends like and watch.

How to Use Instagram Blend

Open a Direct Message (DM) chat with a friend or a group.
Click on the Blend icon at the top of the chat.
Invite your friends using the Invite option.
Once they accept the invite, the shared Blend feed gets created automatically.
Every time you or your friends share a reel, it gets added to the Blend feed.
If you do not see the Blend icon, update your Instagram app.

How to Leave Blend

1.Leaving the Blend feed is simple.
2.Open the DM chat.
3.Click on the Blend icon.
4.Click the red icon to exit the Blend.
