Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina teamed up for a never before action film that tells the story of a tigress elder sister trying her best to protect her little brother from danger. This story was initially written for Katrina Kaif, Knowing her capabilities in the action field. Later, Alia got the offer and she also decided to co-produce the film. Vedang Raina compares Archies and Jigra in scope of acting.

Vedang Raina is an upcoming actor and a Star Kid. With his debut film ‘Archies’ along with many other star kids, That film didn’t get a great recognition but got too much of negativity. after that Vedang is back with a content-oriented action film ‘Jigra’. This film also marks a milestone in Vedang’s career for working with Alia Bhatt in his second film, He is also considered the best among the other star kids who were cast in Archies.

Vedang Raina compares Archies and Jigra:

Vedang recently spoke about his experience working for Jigra and Archies. He compared the films and the experience and concluded saying, ” In Archies, There was no scope for emotions and actual performance. It was just a normal and casual story that had six or seven main actors. It didn’t have the scope to deal with the emotional quotient. But with Jigra, It was different. There was a lot of scope for emotions. I used to lock myself up in my vanity van, not talking to anyone, Putting myself in that emotion and doing it on set. Which I haven’t done ever. Its so challenging and interesting.

Satya (Alia Bhatt) has been an orphan since a young age and the sole caretaker of her younger brother Ankur (Vedang Raina). They got support from their distant relatives to survive and study, Satya Started working to provide for Ankur and took care of the family. When Ankur gets an opportunity to get an investment from an investor, he is forced to partner with Kabir. That business trip takes unfortunate turns when Kabir is caught with drugs, and Ankur is forced to take the case on him as he previously had charges on him related to drugs.  Satya fights tirelessly to save her brother, teaming up with Bhatia, a retired gangster, and Muthu, an ex-cop who regrets a wrongful conviction, to hatch a plan to break their boys out of prison.
