TIMS Hospitals Set to Transform Public Healthcare

TIMS Hospitals Set to Transform Public Healthcare

Hyderabad’s three TIMS hospitals will develop into super-specialized facilities. Modern medical services will be offered by these 1,000-bed hospitals that are being built in Alwal, Sanathnagar, and Kothapet. Diseases of the heart, digestive system, and nervous system will receive special care. The remaining ones will be accessible by the end of this year, with Sanathnagar TIMS starting on June 2.

Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences:
Government hospitals will provide corporate-level care. To this end, the Revanth government has made a significant decision. The three TIMS (Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences) hospitals in Hyderabad that the state government is building are to be transformed into super-specialty centers by the government. These 1,000-bed hospitals will be established in the city’s Alwal, Sanathnagar, and Kothapeta. Of these, Sanathnagar TIMS is being developed as a specialized center in the cardiac sciences departments, Kothapet TIMS is being developed as a specialized center in the gastro sciences departments, and Alwal TIMS is being developed as a specialized center in the neurosciences departments.

World Class Facilities:
With cutting-edge medical technology, these facilities will offer top-notch medical care. Modern operating rooms, trauma centers, and nursing and medical schools will also be established. Only a few specific disorders are now treated in the city’s super-specialized hospitals. Patients are reliant on general hospitals like Gandhi, Osmania, and NIMS because there aren’t any specialized government hospitals for neurological, intestinal, or heart conditions. If TIMS hospitals become available, this will be different. The current super specialty physicians will be moved to TIMS to accomplish this. Appointments for workers will also be made.

Warangal’s Super Specialty Hospital:
A super specialty hospital in Warangal would be outfitted with cutting-edge machinery valued at Rs. 1,000 crore in addition to the three TIMS hospitals in Hyderabad. A portion of the World Bank loan will be utilized for this purpose. Robotic surgery, MRI, and advanced endoscope equipment will be acquired. The opening of Sanathnagar TIMS is scheduled for June 2. 30% of Kothapet TIMS is complete, compared to 70% of the remaining Alwal TIMS. By the year’s end, these will also be accessible. In addition to these three facilities, 5,100 additional beds will be added at Warangal Hospital. The patient bed shortage will be resolved as a result.
